Fashionista Surprise!

I love to incorporate (discrete) surprise items to my wardrobe! ¡Me encanta detalles fashionista de sorpresa! It gives a quirky feel to a day at the office without looking unprofessional. Looking at the complete outfit, you see: dress pants with boots, a professional top, blazer, discrete jewelry, hat and a purse. Looking closer, though, surprise! ¿Vistes el imagen de mi perrito Gizmo en los arretes?? My earrings showcase my Shih Tzu Gizmo, and the jewelry I’m wearing include two rings made from a recycled fork and a recycled fork bracelet with my last initial.

The earrings were a gift from my dear friend, Van. I found the utensil jewelry in El Paso, Texas made by a local artist. ¡Me encanta la joyería artesanal!

I combined the surprise pieces with a second-hand blazer, and items I got on clearance years ago. I bought the bright colored bag in Italy, but I made sure it would be a classic piece I could use for years to come.
